Hi, I am Rachel!

I am a self taught photographer who thrives solely off of enough caffeine to power a city, the kind of Target runs that will get you in trouble, and making the most fun out of any situation. Capturing your happiest moments, purest laughs, and deepest love is what gives me life. If you are looking for a fun, playful, stress free session I am your girl!

My weakness is a warm summer evening golden hour session. They are basically what I live for, but don't let that fool ya! I'm the first to want to hike up a mountain in the dark and snow to catch a sunrise elopement (I've done it, and would do it 10 times over again!) or drive for miles and miles for the perfect spot. I am all about a good adventure and have yet to regret a single time I "went out on a limb" for the sake of a photo session. Although, you may laugh at me at least a little when I arrive bundled up in ten layers because always being freezing cold is just one of my personality traits. The photos are always worth the shivers!

I swear by the term "if it doesn't feel natural, it doesn't look right." With me you will not find awkward frozen poses staring at the camera questioning what you got yourself into. Instead, all of my poses are fluid, meaning you're always moving to get the most natural look in your images and I guide you through every step of the way. You will get more than just a photo session, it is a full experience of fun and constant laughs while we capture some camera magic that I promise you won't regret!
